We are located in majestic Osceola, WI just 40 minutes northeast of the metro area of Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. Due to product & market growth we are looking for motivated individuals to fill the following positions:
GSA/Furniture Sales Manager - Xccent Play
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Work in assigned market/product areas – Specifically:
- Sales of site amenities and commercial playground equipment via GSA contract to government entities.
- Development of catalog and internet distribution network selling site amenities product lines.
- Responsible for aggressively growing the business through building profitable relationships with new and existing customers.
- Manages a diverse set of existing site amenities distributors.
- Develops/makes decisions regarding existing distribution, and recruitment of new distribution to maximize sales growth.
- Develop relationships using communication skills, adding value to our products through excellent service.
- Effectively communicate benefits, features and added value of Xccent products to customers.
- Research and prospecting new distribution customers, developing own leads that follow the corporate distribution strategy.
- Responsible for meeting monthly and annual sales goals as determined.
- Research GSA bid opportunities using various resources.
- Develop own GSA bid prospect lists, take initiative to mine information resources to turn leads into sales.
- Develop relationships within key government buying organizations and leverage those relationships for future sales.
- Determine key decision making positions within target government organizations and focus communication and prospecting to follow.
- Maintains working knowledge of government funding, flow and process and uses this understanding to guide the company in its strategic plans.
- Make recommendations on new product development, marketing tools and tactical & strategic marketing plans for the assigned market/product areas.
- Assist in decisions on strategy or focus in existing market areas.
- Determine possible new strategic focus areas utilizing knowledge of Xccent’s capabilities and product lines.
- Support marketing programs through participation in tradeshows, support of marketing activities.
- Minimum 7 years successful outside sales experience, within a manufacturing company.
- GSA sales experience – minimum of 5 years.
- Experience with a Commercial Recreation Market product line is a plus.
- 4 year degree, preferably in a business field; MBA a plus.
- Travel is minimal, les than 10%.
- Experience & comfort with researching & developing a market, creating leads, working prospects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills – both in person and via phone, email, etc.
- Aggressive winner that is driven to meet sales goals. Self starter, fast learner, ability to work independently.
- Get it done attitude, tenacious abilities to do what it takes to make things happen.
- Demonstrated ability to network through an industry, with the intent of leveraging that network to grow sales.

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Sales
- Responsible for meeting monthly and annual sales goals as determined
- Work in multiple assigned market/product areas – Specifically the commercial playground industry, residential decking and framing, other various markets
- Responsible for aggressively growing the business through building profitable relationships with new and existing customers
- Manages a diverse set of existing customers focused in regions of the USA
- Research and prospecting new customers, developing own leads
- Cold calling new prospects
- Develop relationships using communication skills, add value to our products through excellent service to clients
- Effectively communicate benefits, features and added value of Xccent products to customers
Lead Development
- Research target market areas using various Internet resources, industry assoc. & contacts
- Develop own prospect lists, take initiative to mine information resources to turn leads into sales
- Determine key decision making positions within target organizations and focus communication and prospecting to follow
Strategic New Business Development
- Make recommendations on new market areas
- Assist in decisions on strategy or focus in existing market areas
- Determine possible new strategic focus areas utilizing knowledge of Xccent’s capabilities
Sales/Marketing Support
- Assist in managing & administering the incoming lead process
- Within assigned markets, assist in determining tactical & strategic marketing plans
- Support marketing programs through participation in tradeshows, support of marketing activities
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years successful outside sales experience, preferably within a manufacturing company
- 4 year degree, preferably in a business field; MBA a plus
- Travel is required, up to 75% at times
- Self starter, fast learner, ability to work independently
- Experience & comfort with researching & developing a market, creating leads, working prospects
- Excellent interpersonal skills – both in person and via phone, email, etc.
- Comfortable cold calling B2B prospects

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
JOB ROLE: Contribute to overall growth of the company by developing and evaluating new processes and improve current process capability, quality, efficiency, and overall productivity in all areas of manufacturing. This job has no direct supervisory responsibility; however, this position mentors shop floor employees and team leads.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the build and assembly processes.
- Works with Quality and Production to establish the process and tooling required to introduce new products and prototypes.
- Trains production team members in the operation of specialized equipment and tools.
- Improve production line processes and efficiencies.
- Support daily production needs.
- Integrate new manufacturing processes to the plant floor.
- Implement design improvements to current production processes.
- Design error-proof techniques for quality improvement.
- Document and maintain current print revision levels, routers, and bills of material.
- Responsible for providing and maintaining customer quotes on new and existing products.
- Interpret customer prints and translate to flat patterns, assembly prints, and dip prints.
- Assist coworkers in programming production equipment.
- Comply with all Xccent safety requirements such as wearing safety glasses and safety shoes. Identify and report all safety problems to supervisor or safety committee immediately.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Manufacturing Engineering Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Quality Improvement, process control, new product development.
- Ability to cohesively work in a team environment.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of computers, drafting software (AutoCAD and SolidWorks), and programming systems for sheet metal equipment.
- Basic knowledge of the PVC dip coating, powder coating, welding, and metal fabrication operations.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

SALES ENGINEER-MEDICAL/INDUSTRIAL
JOB ROLE: Generate new business and maintain current accounts. Provide manufacturing and engineering support to the Medical/Industrial department. Ensure processes are running efficiently, trouble shoot problems, and help to exceed customer expectations. Key internal member of strategic team to increase revenue and profit base via organic growth, acquisition and new product development.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manage business growth opportunities.
- Actively market the capabilities of Xccent Medical and Industrial
- Assist/process customer quotes, prints and routers/bill of materials.
- Produce sample product for customers and assist with production start up.
- Design, build, and bid tooling for customer product to run efficiently in Xccent production.
- Design and assist with building of production equipment.
- Interact with customers to solve product design problems and explore new opportunities.
- Work with Department Leads and Quality Manager to help solve customer quality issues.
- Work with the production personnel to effectively integrate new jobs into production.
- Seek out new customers, new niche markets, new process opportunities, and assist with all aspects of managing new opportunities.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Stay current with “state of the art” industry tooling methods, new trends, product applications, new processes and customer trends by attending trade shows and doing multi-media research.
- Comply with all Xccent safety requirements such as wearing safety glasses and safety shoes. Identify and report all safety problems to supervisor or safety committee immediately
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mechanical or Manufacturing degree preferred.
- 10+ years manufacturing experience.
- Working knowledge of machining procedures and production equipment.
- Knowledge of tooling design and development a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with internal and external customers to build a solid working relationships.
- Willingness to travel for company purpose.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and pass Xccent physical.
- Prior experience with chemical/material formulations a plus.
- 5+ years experience with medical device manufacturing .
- Proficient in reading, math, blueprint reading, and SolidWorks
